Any travel over 30 miles (round trip) from my home zip of 27958, will have an extra mileage fee of $1/mile.  Depending on how early or late the rehearsal and ceremony times are, hotel accommodations may be needed for a one or two-night stay.  For further clarification and information, please fill out the Enquiry Form.

This has never happened, but fortunately, I have several licensed and experienced colleagues who I know would knock your ceremony out of the park as well as I would. Your ceremony will already be completely written by me, of course, and I would call on one of my colleagues to seamlessly step in and read and perform what you and I have created together.

I recommend and gently insist on a rehearsal – that’s why it’s included in “The Complete Experience” service!

If your venue is not available for a rehearsal, no worries! We just need a space where we can imagine a “front area” and practice walking down a mock aisle and standing in a line. We can do rehearsals in city parks, living rooms, condo party rooms, and restaurants! The options are limitless!

We want to do everything we can to make sure everyone is as relaxed as possible on your wedding day. A rehearsal – anywhere – goes a long way towards that.

After you decide to book me, I’ll send you an invoice via RockPaperCoin.com  You can pay by credit card or debit card online. I ask for 25% of total cost as a non-refundable booking deposit, and the remaining balance is due one week before your wedding.  The remaining balance is paid online.  Don’t worry, you’ll get reminder emails or I can set up installment payments!  After the retainer is paid, I start building your story! We will edit it together, and I’ll reach out to some of your friends and family to add some personal touches.

You will have to apply for your wedding license, and you are responsible for picking up the license prior to your wedding day.

In North Carolina, the license is good immediately upon issuance and is valid for 60 days.  You can purchase your license in any county in the state of North Carolina and get married anywhere in the state.  I am required to return the marriage license to the issuing county within 10 days after the marriage ceremony.  It is your responsibility to request a certified copy of your marriage license from the Register of Deeds office. Before submitting a request for your certified copy, please allow a week or more after your ceremony.  This will allow me time to send the license back and to allow enough time for processing.

In Virginia, the license is also valid for 60 days from the date of issuance and is only valid in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  You can purchase your license in any city in the Commonwealth of Virginia and get married anywhere in the commonwealth.  Handled by my colleague, the marriage license will be returned to the issuing city within 5 days after the marriage ceremony.  It is your responsibility to request a certified copy of your marriage license from the circuit court office.  Before submitting a request for your certified copy, please allow a week or more after your ceremony.  This will allow the officiant to send the license back and to allow enough time for processing.

I love the element of surprise! (but only the good kind!)  If I have questions about certain elements of the script, I will share certain parts with you.  However, I like to keep the ceremony script a surprise, so you and your partner have those organic reactions!  Afterwards, if you would like a copy of your ceremony, just let me know, and I can send you a PDF copy of your love story and vows!

Actually, yes! I do, via RockPaperCoin.com!  Once we all pass the “vibe check” via video consultation, and only after you pay the retainer fee via the online service through RockPaperCoin.com, I can send over the paperwork for you to e-sign.  We can actually go over the contract again during another video or phone meeting if you’d like.
